Crispy Carrot Fries

Having trouble getting your veggies in, or are you in search of a lower-calorie substitute for french fries? With this recipe, you'll be able to tackle both needs! Stay on top of your goals and enjoy a delicious side dish with these crispy carrot fries!


Don't get us wrong, we love potatoes and every potato version of fries as the next person, but it's fun to flip the switch! It's a great way to get kids (adults too) to eat their veggies. Simple and easy ingredients to make a delicious and nutritious side dish.


NOTE: This recipe is all about carrots, but you can also substitute different veggies like zucchini, broccoli, green beans, asparagus, potatoes, or sweet potatoes. Different veggies will have different nutrient and calorie makeups.


What's Needed:

  • Fries

    • 4 carrots

    • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese

    • 1/8 GF panko

    • 2 tbsp olive oil

    • Seasonings: garlic, salt, parsley, pepper, Italian seasonings


  • Dipping sauce

    • Greek yogurt (plain)

    • Lemon juice

    • Garlic

    • Dill

Cooking Note: Aim to cut veggies into as equal parts as possible (same size), this will ensure more even cooking and cook times.
