We are presenting our Honey Garlic Chicken & Veggie Kebabs!


A kebab is a popular and classic method of prepping cubes of meat by placing them through a skewer and grilling. The method originates from the Middle East. Kebabs are traditionally prepped with lamb but have evolved to incorporate a variety of different meats, poultry, and fish. Veggies have also been added to the skewers and depending on the region, veggies and meat may be skewered and cooked separately. This is a nice way to change up a standard plating and dive into other cultures.



Tips to Prepping the Most Delicious Kebabs:

  • It's recommended to marinate the meat! If possible, marinate them overnight, if not, marinate at least for 30 minutes to 1 hour. This will allow the meat to fully absorb the flavors. This can also be the time to prep the veggies being used.

  • Using bamboo skewers? Soak them in water for 1 hour before using it! If the bamboo skewers are not soaked they have the potential to burn while cooking and break into the meat or veggies.

  • Many people prefer flat metal skewers. This helps to not let the meat and veggies move, which can lead to uneven cooking. Flat skewers hold the meat and veggies in place better. Do not feel like you have to have flat skewers, round ones and bamboo ones work perfectly!

  • Depending on the meat and veggies being used, it might be best to separate the two. Just because meat and veggies typically have different cooking times. Just something to consider, not a necessity!

  • Don't have a grill, baking works really well too!
