Flourless Banana Brownies

Healthy Brownies Coming Right Up!

These flourless brownies are moist, airy, packed with nutrients, and absolutely delicious! With a few simple pantry ingredients, you can have yourself a brownie bite (or two) with no regrets in under 30 minutes.


Eating healthy doesn't mean you can't enjoy the sweet treats you love. Check out these delicious protein-filled Flourless Banana Brownies. This recipe is gluten-free, dairy-free (do check prepackaged ingredients), and vegetarian.



What's Needed:

  • Bananas

  • Peanut butter

  • Cocoa powder

  • Protein powder

    • We use Isopure Chocolate Peanut Butter flavor

  • Baking powder

  • Sugar

  • Egg

  • Dark chocolate chips



Tips and Tricks

  • Ripe bananas work best for this recipe. The sugar content is higher, which will act as a natural sweetener and also enhances the banana flavor.

  • Try using a different nut or seed butter for a twist on flavor, for example, almond butter. We have also made these brownies using tahini, and they turned out delicious. Keep in mind different kinds of butter may alter the texture or consistency.

  • Play around with the added sugars. Add more or less sugar depending on desired sweetness. Another alternative you could use is a 50/50 split of half sugar and half apple sauce. Apple sauce is a great way to add flavor, texture, and is a more natural way to sweeten your brownies. Maple syrup, honey, or another agave can also be used for added sweetness.

  • You can make these brownies 100% vegan by making a flaxseed egg in substitution for the whole egg. Always check pre-packaged ingredients to be certain your products are vegan.

  • These brownies are 100% gluten-free and should be 100% dairy-free, again, just check the ingredient labels when purchasing some of the ingredients.
